The Vacuum Glass Tubes with the Heat Pipes work under the day light, transforming this energy to heat the coil exchanger thousands of times, keeping the tank as a thermal store; therefore, heating the water very efficiently.

How it works?
It uses the principle that at sea level the water boils at 100C (212F) but if you climb to the top of a mountain the boiling temperature of the water is less than 100C (212F) due to the difference in the atmospheric air pressure.

Based on this principle we achieve the same results evacuating the air from the tubes. This results in that the collector boils the water at less than 30C (86F) with distilled water and other components inside the heat pipes, and every time the heat pipe is heated by the sun light at this temperature the water vaporizes. This vapor rapidly rises to the top of the pipes transmitting energy, and when the vapor reaches this point, this energy heat is transmitted to the tank condenser. As the heat is transmitted to the coil condenser, the vapor condenses to form a liquid and returns to the bottom of the heat pipe to repeat the process hundreds of times.

In order to have a clear idea of how fast your water will heat,
your tap water temperature even in the coldest cities of the US like New York, Chicago, etc is (40F~45F) in the US South, like Miami, Dallas, etc. it is warmer, around 65F. Why? because the pipes are under 5 to 6ft underground which keep it warmer spite of the weather conditions above ground could be colder.

You have to take into consideration that the safety water temperature used in water heaters to take a shower without suffering burns is between (105F~115F ) The differences in the temperatures enable the system to achieve hot water much faster.

Since the system boils the water at 86F, that means as soon as the tap water comes in contact with the coil exchanger in the tank it becomes hot to your desired temperature, managed by a sensor in the tank and the digital controller unit.

Thermal Tank
This type of Solar Water Heater provides mains pressure via a high effective copper coil heat exchanger (200 Feet long) located in the tank, it works as a close loop system. The Heat exchanger inside the tank provides more than 15 sqf2 of heat transfer area. After connecting the main pressure water tap into the copper inlet coil, when the outlet valve is open, the water flows through the coil absorbing heat from the water inside the solar collector tank.
The solar collector tank is therefore a thermal store.
When people turn on the tap, there is immediately hot water and the water is so clean because the water in use is directly from the tap, not from the tank.
